Osmocote Exact DCT, based upon Dual Coating Technology, has set the new standard with its 4th generation of coated fertilizer which is “programmed released.” From this new generation of coated fertilizers, the startup of the nutrient release is postponed to a later time which is predetermined.
With the DCT technology, a second coating of a different composure is wrapped around an Osmocote Exact granule. This second coating has an affect on the startup of the nutrient release. It does not startup directly after the initial application, rather 2-3 months afterwards.
These new release patterns are the perfect solution for growing circumstances where it was once not possible to feed the plants completely with coated fertilizers.
