Parsley

Parsley is a short-growing crop, grown exclusively for its green leaves. As with most herbs, parsley does best in a sunny area which receives direct light for 6-8 hours a day. Depending on the length of the growth season, 3–4 crops can be harvested. Optimal pH for mineral soil is 6.5, while for organic soil it is 5.3.  On well-drained light textured soils, and peat soils, higher fertilization rates are frequently used.
